MrBoombastyc: I have read somewhere (it's not true ofc, but it was funny thought though) that they changed refrain and the name of the song, 'cause Anette couldn't reach the high notes :D

Ashleymjy: They should have just had Anette sing this version, since the lyrics, y'know, actually make sense (without getting all weird and abstract).

1. This version beats the production version in terms of lyrics.
2. Anette looks even more ridiculous in this (obviously unofficial) splicing than she did in the original video for the song.

Senseless333x2: "original" ? Well Reach isnt unoriginal atleast, It was there first, because it wars created before Anette joined NW, and then Tuomas rewritten the song from Reach to Amaranth.

Nightwish Marco Hietala: I agree Tuomas make Nightwish , he is Nightwish , but only with keys (piano) and lyrics is not band , must have a singer. If Marco 's gone some time , will be able to keep Anette the band so high (as lead singer) ? i don't think so :(( Marco's voice is incredible.

And I really don't mean the orchestra. Of course the orchestra IS missing - but that's not what I personally miss about that song.

AyashaVo92: Yeah but he DOES play a lot more keys / synths in the original Amaranth version and that's what I'm actually missing. Of course the orchestra is missing, too, but the keys are a lot lot lot less. Especially around 0:30-0:40

giussepe48: I like Marco's voice, he has an amazing voice. But for this song is Anette better for me. This song is too high for Marco, i think. But some beauties are there. That's my feeling.
majomanak: synthesizer ? Didn´t you mean orchestras ? Because in most of Nightwish´s song are great orchestras ! Also in this one. But in this version there is just keyboard (synths) so it´s so weak !

RedeemerNDestroyer: Kinda like this song more and more every time i listen to it, im starting to like it even more that the original amaranth, That doesn't mean i dont like Amaranth and Anette's singing but for me this version is better, especially the refrain, so beautiful, they should have kept it az original but anyway a great one, for the ones who want to download it, try beemp3 or mp3skull (for me mp3skull is better, but my opinion)

I especially like the trick with the Nemo piano clip, but I bet a good pianist would actually be able to "hear" the original Nemo overture, since that clip is how I learned to play it, lol. Something I like to do every now and then, and I'm glad I got enough computer to pull it off, is play "My Little Phoenix" (Tarja, "My Winter Storm" Track 7) audio behind the original Amaranth video muted. They go very well together.

TheMinionMan: Yeah Marco can sing like a god, but without a singing goddess, the band just feels like they're missing something. I think Nightwish is probably the only major band out there with a GREAT female (either Tarja or Anette) AND male vocalist, and I LOVE it.
